Integrated Solar Design mounting system certified for Caribbean Island Installations.
Analysis of the Integrated Solar Design mounting system has concluded that the system can withstand winds of 150 MPH.
Golden, Colorado, September 6, 2009 -- Structural Design Partnership, LLC, located in Golden Colorado, has completed a wind load analysis on the Integrated Solar Design mounting system for Caribbean Island Installations. The analysis was based on information gleaned from the previous snow load analysis and conducted in accordance with the 2000 International Building Code.
Gusts with three second duration of 120 to 150 MPH were considered. The system and associated fasteners were found to comply with the criteria for loads encountered under those conditions.
This latest test completes the analysis process and certifies the system for a full range of conditions from high mountain, heavy snow areas to the hurricane wind forces of the tropics.
